You can purchase available artworks directly from Dean Jackson’s Toronto studio. He also welcomes custom sculpture commissions, giving collectors the chance to acquire a one-of-a-kind creation designed to match their vision.
Custom Sculpture Commissions
The process begins with a simple inquiry. First, email Dean with your preferred medium and theme. For example, you might request an AeroPod inspired by a specific aircraft, complete with an interior designed for fine spirits and cigars. Or you could commission a wall sculpture based on a favorite location or in custom dimensions.
From there, Dean works with you step by step to bring your concept to life. Every commissioned piece includes a complimentary concept sketch, giving you a clear preview of the final artwork. Once you approve the design, a 50% deposit starts the project, and the balance is due upon completion.
Typical timelines:
- AeroPods: six to ten months
- Wall sculptures: one to two months
- Furniture commissions: project-specific timelines
A bespoke furniture commission follows the same process. It begins with conversation and concept, and ends with a handcrafted piece created specifically for your space.
Acquisitions
In addition to commissioned work, Dean also offers select speculative pieces for immediate acquisition and worldwide shipping. Simply browse the available works and email your selection along with shipping details. You can pay by cheque or bank transfer.
Why Commission a Work
When you commission an artwork, you become part of the creative process. The result is a piece made to your exact interests — one that endures, resonates, and reflects your individuality. In the end, you’ll own an heirloom that embodies your passion for art and design.
